Weeksify ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Wyens LLC, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

⚙️ 2. How the App Works — AI Processing Pipeline

Weeksify uses a two-stage AI pipeline to convert your voice into structured tasks:

Step 1 — Voice Transcription (Third-Party: OpenAI)

When you record a task, your voice audio is sent to the OpenAI Whisper API (operated by OpenAI, L.L.C.) solely to convert your speech to text. OpenAI returns the transcribed text to the app. Weeksify does not retain your audio after transcription is complete.

Step 2 — Task Parsing (Our Private Server)

The transcribed text is sent to our private server, which runs a locally installed AI model (Ollama). This server has no connection to the public internet — it is an isolated, privately operated environment. The model converts the text into a structured task format and returns the result to your app. No audio is involved in this step.

Step 3 — User Decision (No AI)

You review the interpreted task and decide whether to save it. If you save, the task data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our servers. No AI processing is involved in this step.

📊 3. Information We Collect

Voice and Audio Data

When you use voice input, your audio is temporarily recorded on-device and transmitted to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. Weeksify does not store your raw audio recordings. The audio is used solely to obtain a text transcription.

Transcribed Text

The text returned by OpenAI Whisper is sent to our private server for task parsing. This text is not stored unless you choose to save the resulting task.

Task Data

If you choose to save a task, the task data (title, description, date, time, etc.) is stored locally on your device and may be synced to our secure servers for cross-device access. This data does not pass through any AI service.

Account Information

When you register, we collect your email address and any profile information you voluntarily provide.

Usage Data

We automatically collect device information (type, OS, identifiers), usage patterns, and crash reports to improve the app.

🤖 4. Third-Party AI Service — OpenAI Whisper

Weeksify uses OpenAI's Whisper API to transcribe your voice recordings. By using the voice input feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

Your voice audio will be transmitted to OpenAI's servers for transcription purposes only.
Under OpenAI's standard API terms, data submitted via the API is not used to train OpenAI models.
OpenAI's privacy practices are governed by their Privacy Policy at openai.com/privacy.
Weeksify is not responsible for OpenAI's data handling practices beyond our API agreement.

We will ask for your explicit in-app consent before sending any voice data to OpenAI Whisper.

🖥️ 5. Our Private Server (Task Parsing)

The transcribed text from Step 1 is sent to a private server owned and operated by Wyens LLC. This server runs a locally installed AI model (Ollama) to convert your transcribed text into a structured task. This server:

Is owned and operated exclusively by Wyens LLC.
Has no connection to the public internet — it operates in an isolated private environment.
Does not share your data with any third party.
Only receives transcribed text — never your raw audio.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information. All data transmitted between the app and our servers uses industry-standard encryption (TLS).

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

🤝 8. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except in the following circumstances:

OpenAI (Whisper API): Voice audio is shared with OpenAI solely for transcription. See Section 4.
Our Private Server: Transcribed text is processed by our own private server. See Section 5. This is not a third-party service.
When required by law or to protect our rights.
In connection with a business transfer or acquisition.
With your explicit consent.

Opt-out: Withdraw consent for voice data processing at any time by disabling microphone permissions in device settings. Note this will disable voice input functionality.

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
